Dave and Jen's was pretty difficult...doing two-people drawings is not my forte, but I'm pretty proud of how it came out. Bob's is incredibly cute, and Dan/Sylph's is full of love-love power. And Joe's is glompa-riffic. Yes. That's a word. >_> It's in the Tifftionary. I don't want to get up early tomorrow. |

mood : accomplished Okay. Most of you know that I make Anime Music Videos. So last Christmas, Derek and I were working at the candy store, the christmas music blasting from the speakers above. Tran-Siberian Orchestra's "christmas eve sarajevo" (the really hard-rock sounding carol of the bells, to those who don't know) came on, and I of course, had to dance around and headbang to it. Then, Derek came wandering up to me, that gleaming look of "oh my god, I have a brilliant idea" in his eyes. He then said to me, "...This would make an awesome music video to the Utena movie." ...And so this AMV was born. It sounds utterly bizarre. But the combination of the hard rock orchestra with the art of Adolesence Mokoshiroku made for an aewsome video, if I do say so myself. I worked very hard on this. Getting it to synch up and creating my first instrumental-only music video was hard work. But I'm proud of it. And now I want to share it with my GJ friends. Please tell me what you think. And just a note? Watching it in fullsize in mediaplayer WILL distort it a bit. This was made with Windows MovieMaker, and it doesn't put out the best quality in the world. =D We're under a winter storm warning, upgraded from a watch. Snow/ice/sleet tomorrow afternoon into thursday morning. WOO. This makes Tiffu happy becuase: 1) She likes snow 2) It's starting to feel like winter. FINALLY. 3) She will not have to go to work if this happens. LAZY DAY! ;_; I just got done watching A Charlie Brown Christmas...one of my family's long-running traditions. My mom called from TN to tell me it was on. It made me somewhat sad..it wasn't the same watching it without my family, and Derek isn't into christmas stuff, especially christmas specials. Boo. I'm so ready to go home. |

Instead of that bullshit, how about: If a woman is drunk, don't rape her. If a woman is walking alone at night, don't rape her. If a women is drugged and unconscious, don't rape her. If a woman is wearing a short skirt, don't rape her. If a woman is jogging in a park at 5 am, don't rape her. If a woman looks like your ex-girlfriend you're still hung up on, don't rape her. If a woman is asleep in her bed, don't rape her. If a woman is asleep in your bed, don't rape her. If a woman is doing her laundry, don't rape her. If a woman is in a coma, don't rape her. If a woman changes her mind in the middle of or about a particular activity, don't rape her. If a woman has repeatedly refused a certain activity, don't rape her. If a woman is not yet a woman, but a child, don't rape her. If your girlfriend or wife is not in the mood, don't rape her. If your step-daughter is watching tv, don't rape her. If you break into a house and find a woman there, don't rape her. If your friend thinks it's okay to rape someone, tell him it's not, and that he's not your friend. If your "friend" tells you he raped someone, report him to the police. If your frat-brother or another guy at the party tells you there's an unconscious woman upstairs and It's your turn, don't rape her, call the police and tell the guy he's a rapist. Tell your sons, god-sons, nephews, grandsons, sons of friends it's not okay to rape someone. Don't tell your women friends how to be safe and avoid rape. Don't imply that she could have avoided it if she'd only done/not done x. Don't imply that it's in any way her fault. Don't let silence imply agreement when someone tells you he "got some" with the drunk girl. Don't perpetuate a culture that tells you that you have no control over or responsibility for your actions. mood :  creative^__^ I am doing little drawings (fully inked and colored) for close friends for Christmas, along with their christmas card. I must finish this by the end of next week. *Nods* To-draw list: Shell Bob Joanime Dave & Jen Tiffa Tempy Kisu @_@; I think that's it. I walked in the christmas parade with Curves tonight, and it was much fun. I was a bit put off by the horse that shat next to me, or the 9 year old boy who pointed at each one of us and declared whether or not we were hot, or the fact that the lights on our little float-thingy burned out in the middle ;_; But all in all, it was great. ^__^ I <3 Christmas. |
